Veteran Protections are vital to ensuring the safety and well-being of those who have served our nation from physical, mental, and financial exploitation. Several federal agencies play a critical role in this effort, including the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), which provides comprehensive services and protections; the Department of Justice (DOJ), which enforces laws against crimes targeting veterans; and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), which protect veterans from scams and financial abuse. Other important agencies such as the VA Office of Inspector General (VA-OIG), and Veterans Employment and Training Service (VETS) contribute to safeguarding veterans’ rights and benefits. Together, these agencies work diligently to combat exploitation, promote mental health resources, and ensure that veterans are honored and protected throughout their lives.
